I was always in some band or other for years, and I thought it was about time I wrote more songs. Guitarist in the 80s, switched to bass in the 90s for the freedom of not having to stand near the front, and to groove with myself and the drummer, enjoy the gig, and save money on booze and the like.
In this time I had the privilege to play with 3 really good songwriters, and this over time inspired me to try harder myself.
